All Great Endeavors
The corner stone of military training is the installation of one’s pride, one’s duty, and one’s country. These fundamental principles are a primary fact guaranteeing survival on the modern battlefield. Conversely pride and honor are some of the most significant detractors preventing veterans from reaching out for assistance when they most need it. The delicate nuances of the prideful Veteran and the bashful Donor required us to develop a strategy in which to unite both aspects of that dichotomy in such a manner to remove all stigmas.
So we circled the wagons to develop a new strategy in which to underwrite our long term objectives. There is a fundamental need all modern societies have and that is energy and an ever expanding consumption of it. By starting a renewable energy program, that is mobile, efficient, cost effective, and will generate excess income to drive forward and establish the necessary foundation for our platform to begin our veterans out-reach and make an impact. We are not offering a hand-out we are offering a hand up to any Veteran that wishes to collaborate with us. The ultimate goal of operation veterans promise is to create a “funding engine” which will actively donate to Veterans' causes and organizations in need of such support.
Here at OVP we know that people not money make the world go round. While funding facilitates and opens the door for people to come together its the people that makes things happen. Everyone has an idea whether they know it or not, bringing it to reality is the challenge and for many the lack there of is an insurmountable obstacle. Operation Veterans Promise is here to help underwrite programs and support systems that contribute to others, supporting our nation’s Veteran’s community in their time of need. In this way we will have to broadest impact possible. By utilizing the motivations of individuals that are not only geared toward helping Veterans but understand how we think and operate, we hope to offer others the ability to make an impact on behalf of Veterans. After all, its people and their supportive networks that accomplishes the mission. We are but one company, we are but a few in size and I am but one person, but together we can reduce homelessness, unemployment and more so give the fighting men and women of this great country a real chance at the freedom and prosperity in which they so valiantly risked their lives to defence.
When I left the service and realized how my time and experience in the United States Army changed me for the better, I realized many of the support structures that where integral to my development where no longer available or accessible. Logic dictates other Veterans must see it similarly. While there are systems in place, they are obviously strained with the outflow of over 10+ long years of war. In this way Operation Veterans Promise will with time and effort promote the development of Veterans in the civilian environment. All the while being a private enterprise we can act as a “pressure release valve” for the already taxed Veteran's outreach support systems.
